April 11, 2026 - What a DREAM!! Camry and Alex's proposal was so perfect.

The day they got engaged was also Camry's 20th Birthday. So asking her to come do this photoshoot for me was kinda like pulling teeth. I knew she wouldn't want to come do photos and would rather go hang out with her friends. But I literally begged her, made it seem like I had no one to do it for me. And she agreed!

The whole week prior was so rainy, cloudy and windy. And to be honest I didn't know if I was going to be able to pull of her dream proposal. I was frantically messaging Alex trying to figure out an alternative location incase it was going to rain. And with it being wedding season and really late notice everyone was booked. (I started praying hard)

At Easter dinner she asks me "what if it rains", and "what time will we be done" cuz she had dinner reservations that night (her surprise proposal party). I hadn't thought that far through and just said yeah we may be doing a rain photoshoot - I ordered a clear umbrella. 

The week of I asked if she had found an outfit for this photoshoot and she said, "No, my taxes are more important right now."

I would have to agree but I would also like to disagree. haha. I made her ask her best friend for an outfit, beachy and white. Her friend came in clutch 2 days before her proposal. I also made sure that someone was taking her to get her nails done for her birthday.

The day of - I woke up that morning, had a typical morning and then at 1 went to the lake to check it out. At 4:45 PM I met the florist out at the lake to start setting up. I called Camry around this time just to make sure she was on her way.

Alex and Camry show up around 5:30 PM and walk down to the dock. Camry already had suspicion that she was getting proposed to. I wasn't in my car prior to them showing up and usually I wait for them. She asked me what the flowers were for and I just said the photos. I had them put there  phones down and we started right away.

I posed them for one before having Camry turn around. You can imagine - when she turned around the wind picked up and her hair was a hot mess. So we waited for her to try and attempt to tuck her hair. This is when she knew. There were some girls staring right at her. Alex got down and I had her turn around. After that we did a small engagement session in front of the gorgeous flowers. 

I had all of their friends and family waiting at a bar to celebrate the two new Mr. and Mrs.
